Get Qualified in Sport Coaching – Fully Funded for Eligible Students!
Are you passionate about squash and looking to turn your love for the game into a career? Squash Queensland, in partnership with TAFE Queensland’s Academy of Sport (RTO 0275), are seeking expressions of interest from aspiring squash coaches who wish to gain a Certificate II in Sport Coaching (SIS20321).
This qualification is aimed at students in Year 10, 11 or 12 and is a fantastic first step into the sports industry, helping you develop essential coaching skills, leadership qualities, and a strong foundation in athlete development.
Even better, eligible students in Queensland may be able to access Vocational Education and Training in Schools (VETiS) funding, which means you could study at no cost! Key information on VETiS funding can be found by clicking here.
Study would take place at a central venue in place of an ordinary day at school (9am – 3pm). Students are able to study towards the Certificate II qualification which gain assist students in gaining up to 4 QCE credits, whilst also having options for a Certificate III qualification which can contribute towards their ATAR. We are currently seeking expressions of interest for two intakes:
- A mid-year cohort commencing in Term 3, 2025; and/or
- An ordinary intake cohort commencing in Term 1, 2025.
