2026 Queensland Junior Teams Championships is coming to Carrara Squash Club!
EVENT DATES:
* Entries Close: 19th of June 2026 at 5.00pm
* TEAMS Start: 2nd of July 2026 | End: 4th of July 2026
Regional team selection applies, however, players who missed out on regional selection are able to nominate via the QJC Individual Event Registration to fill in where spots are vacant.
AGE DIVISIONS: Girls U11, U13, U15, U17 & U19 / Boys U11, U13, U15, U17 & U19

Carrara Indoor Sports Stadium, 296 Nerang Broadbeach Road, Carrara, Gold Coast
PRICES:
Team Entry $550 per team
EVENT INFORMATION:
* Official Ball: Dunlop Double Dot Yellow Ball
* Players may be photographed throughout the event and posted on social media. Please advise if you do not wish this to occur when arriving on Day 1 at the tournament.
* TEAM PHOTOGRAPHS will be taken on 2 July at 8am at the venue
MATCH SCHEDULE:
Day 1: Southern v Northern; Brisbane v Central
Day 2: Southern v Central; Brisbane v Northern
Day 3: Southern v Brisbane; Northen v Central
ELIGIBILITY:
* Players must be affiliated with Squash Queensland or must have a valid affiliation in their home state (if not QLD).
* Please note that players must be under the respective age of their category throughout the competition to be eligible for that category. (ie a player must be under the age of the age group as at the last day of the tournament).
* Regional Selection process must be adhered to.
PLAYER REQUIREMENTS:
* ALL players must wear protective eyewear.
* Players must mark and/or referee a match immediately following their own.
* Players at State events aged 13 and over must complete the appropriate Sport Integrity Courses:
- Safeguarding Children and Young People in Sport Induction
- Anti-Doping Fundamentals
- Competition Manipulation and Sports Gambling
- Annual Update

Players can log in to view and download their certificates on the SIA website. If the courses above have already been completed, they do not need to be redone. However, the 2026 Annual Update may still need to be completed.

FUNCTION:
* The Burleigh Bears Leagues Club, 80 Pacific Ave, Miami QLD 4220, is hosting a dinner following the Grand Finals of the Individual event for all players, parents and staff.
* Time: 5.30pm
* No Charge for meal (need to purchase drinks)
* RSVP via tournament registration form or directly to the Tournament Director by 30 June.
PRACTICE COURTS:
* Bookings for practice courts on 28 June must be made in advance. For bookings, call Vicki Boswell on 0432 155 499.
* Please note: all regions must be given equal opportunity to practice, and times will be fair and reasonable.
