2025 Squash Queensland Junior Championships Townsville

EVENT INFORMATION: 
* AJST Gold Event 
* Squash Queensland Australian Junior Championship Event 
* 3 Day Singles Event
* 3 Day Teams Event
* Guaranteed 3 matches per event 
* Official Ball: Dunlop Double Dot Yellow Ball
* NB International players who are not Australian citizens or residents will need to first affiliate as a Junior International Member via

INDIVIDUAL EVENT 
* Divisions: U9, U11, U13, U15, U17, U19 - Male and Female events 
* PAR 11, Best of 5 games.  
* Only players named in the Squash Australia Next Gen and Talent Squads may apply via email to Lachlan Johnston ljohnston@squashaus.com.au to request approval to play in two age groups for the tournament
* Players must play in their own age group or U19 age group
*During registration, eligible players may opt to make themselves available for selection to compete in the QJC Teams Event where spots are available on a first in best dressed basis allocated based on priority (ONLY available for U11+)

ELIGIBILITY 
* Players must be affiliated with Squash Queensland or must have a valid affiliation in their home state (if not QLD). 
* Please note that the players must be under the respective age of their category throughout the competition to be eligible for that category.  
For example, a player turning 17 on June 30th, 2025, or later can play in the Under 17 category. A player turning 17 on June 30th, 2025, or earlier must play in the Under 19 category.

SEEDING: 
* Seeding for the tournament will be based on the AJST rankings as of the 13th June, 2025. 
* The event seeding panel will review the seedings and make any adjustments where deemed necessary including review international entrants. 
 
EVENT MERCHANDISE

* Limited stock will be available on site
* Post event orders will be open via the onliine store during the event and received up to 8 weeks after the event via AusPost

* Individual Entry Fee: $60AUD (Early Bird Discount to June 1, 2025) | $65AUD (Registrations received from June 2, 2025)
** Two Age Grade Entry Fee: $85AUD (Early Bird Discount to June 1, 2025)/ $90AUD (Registrations from June 2, 2025)

PLAYER REQUIREMENTS 
* ALL players must wear protective eye-wear. 
* Australian Players aged 13 and over must have completed the appropriate Sports Integrity Australia courses:

* Players must mark and/or referee a match immediately following their own

* Bookings for practice courts must be made in advance. You can book in 1-hour sessions by emailing admin@dalrymplesquashcentre.com.au
